The demo/second hand section has just had a major update.
The AV show in Victoria was an enormous success, with loads of rooms filled with superb hi-fi equipment.
Thanks to the organisers for getting it off the ground, and to all the visitors for making it a success.

Perhaps the biggest news this millenium is the announcement of a dedicated AV show in Australia for 2011.
The last show of this kind that I recall was back in 1996.
Equinox will be exhibiting at this show, which is being held in Victoria in October.
Equipment shown is not yet fully decided, however it will likely be along the lines of 3 systems, using the Jupiter, Aphelion, and Eclipse.
A swag of Primare components will be driving these systems.

Our newly released Neptune was demonstrated for the Sydney Audio Club recently, and the response was very good indeed. Even in the very large demo room which is normally used, the Neptunes produced stunningly accurate sound at SPL's which even surprised me!
We used the very impressive Primare I30 and CD31 amp/CD player on the day, which allowed the speakers to perform at their peak.
For this month only the Neptunes and Primare package, normally $16,500, are going for just $12,500. This is $4000 off the standard price, which is already something of a high end bargain.
This combination has to be heard to be believed, who would have thought that such sonic purity could ever have been achieved for this kind of money.

Over the last few years we've had an increasing amount of enquiries regarding
suitable amplification to be used with our loudspeakers since the closure of our last amplifier supplier.
We were very fortunate to have already been involved with the distributor of a very
fine product, which led to the current high end product we now use, Primare.

It's been a long time coming, but we finally have an update.
Firstly, the Galaxy launch will now take place in early 2010, as we are in the process of redesigning our entire range of speakers. Naturally it is sensible to launch all the new speakers at the same time. A few models have been dropped, and a few new speakers have eventuated.
The most significant change is the direction that we are now heading in, and that is ultra high end. All of our hand made speakers are now firmly in the high end catagory, and the price increase reflect this change.
We haven't forgotten our budget minded customers and so have made the decision to adopt a friendly face within the Australian audio industry, and that is Whatmough Monitors. We will be carrying Whatmoughs 'Synergy 2' and 'Magnum 3' systems.
We have some very exciting times ahead, stay tuned.
