This component combines a highly sophisticated multi channel pre-amplification with an advanced multi-channel processor, decoding multi-channel sources encoded in Dolby and DTS formats to provide eight discrete output channels for up to eight loudspeakers in a surround system, and an HD ready ultra-wide bandwidth video switcher.
High speed, high bit rate processing will ably accommodate all of the multi-channel audio surround formats currently available. The SP31's plug and play simplicity will appeal to lovers of multi-channel music by virtue of its 7.1 channel analogue input for DVD-A and SACD.
Its RS232 interface will allow the processor to be integrated with high-end home theatre systems and controlled via a wide range of home automation "whole house" controllers. A multitude of onboard triggers will enable a high degree of control over partnering equipment and ancillary features such as screens and blinds from the SP31 itself.
High quality video is served by a comprehensive range of inputs, which includes component video switching to deliver the highest performance and convenience.
