Cambridge Audio continues on its quest to bring high quality products for all with the introduction of the DVD86.
The DVD86 incorporates HDMI (high-definition multimedia interface) for degredation free transfer of information. HDMI reduces interference and ensures sharp detail and vivid colours.
DiVX playback is possible for suitably encoded discs and the DVD86 is fully compatible with DiVX 3.11, 4, 5, DiVX Pro XVID.
The DVD86 decodes Dolby Digital soundtracks via the six channel analogue out and is, of course, capable of playing conventional compact discs.
All these electronics sit on a custom-made chassis for ultimate stability. Finished with a sturdy aluminium front panel, the DVD86 is available in silver or black. The DVD86 also comes with a highly ergonomic and elegant remote control which offers access to the full range of features.
