Eclipse
|
 |
The Eclipse is a compact bookshelf loudspeaker designed for use as main speakers in small domestic lounge rooms, monitors in a recording studio, or surround speakers in HT systems.
The dynamics of the Eclipse are in a class of their own due to the use of high end aluminum cone bass drivers, and arguably the finest fabric dome tweeter known - the Scan Speak Ring Radiator.
The crossover features air core coils, film capacitors, and MOX resisitors.
The cabinet is constructed with 25mm MDF with wall to wall shelf bracing, angled baffles, and extensive damping material to reduce internal reflections to inaudible levels.
The bass is clean and detailed with exceptional dynamics from such a small system. The midrange and high frequencies are produced with an accuracy unheard of from a speaker at this price.
At $3000 the Eclipse represents one of the finest loudspeakers available at this price point.
