Azur 640T V2
|
 |
Cambridge Audio has updated many of its models from the award-winning Azur range and the 640T V2 has undergone a wave of upgrades. Most notable is the improved high performance Wolfson WM8740 24-bit/192 kHz digital to analogue converter – the same used in the multi award-winning 640C V2 CD player.
At the heart of the 640T is the latest integrated DAB chipset which produces a beautifully fluent sound in both FM and digital. A toroidal transformer reduces distortion and provides better sonic performance.
Cambridge Audio's already lauded Natural Contour Technology ™ (NCT™) domain compensation system has been revised to produce an even more defined tone with superb clarity and passion. The radio’s broadcast timbre can be subtly adjusted via a control on the 640T's rear panel. NCT can also be controlled using the new navigator style remote control.
The 640T’s clear LCD display now has adjustable backlight brightness for a preferred ambiance and provides information on radio station, artist and track. It has 20 presets, a power switch and Control Bus In/Out and IR emitter In for seamless integration with Incognito, Cambridge Audio's multi-room entertainment system.
