R20

 |
If you have a precious collection of recordings on vinyl records, and your system includes a high-quality turntable, tone arm, and pick-up cartridge, the R20 MM-MC Amplifier provides the ideal interface between the low-level output provided by the cartridge and the line-level inputs provided by a modern sound system.
The R20 accepts either moving-magnet or moving-coil type cartridges. Gain and impedance can be adjusted for the optimum match between the cartridge and preamplifier.
Its sensitive circuits consist only of discrete components from the finest semiconductor manufacturers. Leaded components and 1% metal film resistors are used throughout the amplifier for their sonic excellence and low noise.
The output and input RCA connectors are gold plated with Teflon insulation giving the best possible signal transmission for the delicate low level signal provided by the cartridge.
The main transformer, coated in an iron cover for lowest possible magnetic disturbance, has separate windings for left and right channel supplies.
The R20's output is configured to match the input characteristics of Primare amplifiers or other high-quality audio designs.
